Instagrammer Worried Too Little 'Likes' On Instagram Dinner Post
Singapore - Expressing frustration and already panicking, local university student Yvain Tung reported Thursday that he was fully unprepared to suffer the social repurcussions if not enough friends on his Instagram Liked his dinner post in the early evening.
"I already tried my best to take nice shot, and apply the thickest filter but still only 5-10 Likes," said Yvain who added that he had no idea what to do if the post did not hit at least 30 Likes - the socially acceptable standard on Instagram for a dinner post on a Thursday evening.
The image which featured two steaming bowls of fish soup noodles with a tray of its signature fried chicken wings between the bowls, was taken at famous Xin Yuan Ji fish soup restaurant at the busy district of Bugis.
Adding that he even tried to spruce up the image by inconspiciously including his designer label Bottega Veneta wallet on the left hand side of the shot, Yvain could not figure out why the post still sat at only 7 Likes.
At press time, sources report that Yvain was getting ready to ring up his closest friends to tell them to go onto his Instagram page and Like his post in order to protect his self-esteem.
