As Singaporeans fervently look forward to come together and cast their votes for the upcoming election, media analysts and political commentators have predicted that this year’s Polling Day, scheduled on September 11, is set to be explosive and completely off the hook.

“History’s going to be made on that day and it’s going to be completely ballistic,” said HR manager Joshua Koh, adding that he expects nothing short of a big blast.

With the General Election pressures building up for the past year, tensions are set to erupt and blow up on Polling Day.

The last election was held in 2011 and since then, more than fourteen MPs have announced their retirement. The general consensus of Singaporeans regarding this year’s election is that it will hit the roof with a bang.

PM Lee Hsien Loong announced in a Facebook post Tuesday urging Singaporeans that “whatever the world throws at us, as one people, we will overcome” similar to how America overcame the hijacked plane attacks terrorist organisation al-Qaeda threw into the World Trade Center.

By law, all Polling Days are considered public holidays. As such, voting venues will expect to see huge, concentrated amounts of citizens and people.

At press time, it was announced that voting sites was in talks to be done at the central location of Sheraton Towers or Orchard Towers.
