Balmain X H&M Shopper Overslept In Tent, Missing Sale
Describing her life as "falling apart right now," 27-year-old self-confessed fashion fiend Samantha Mark who queued overnight was aghast to find out that she had overslept the grand opening of the highly anticipated Balmain x H&M sale.
Mark, a pre-school teacher, was one of many shoppers who joined the queue at Orchard Building as early as three days before the official opening on Thursday, hoping to snag the items she wanted.
However, she was shocked to find out that she had overslept the official door opening at 8am on Thursday, and that some 400 shoppers in the queue had been considerate enough to tip-toe quietly past her so as not to disrupt her beauty sleep.
"I packed food, water, a tent and my portable chargers but clearly I should have packed an alarm clock too," said the well-rested but horrified girl, who was beginning to throw a tantrum.
At press time, a passer-by who had tried to calm her down made the mistake of telling Mark to "get some rest" only to infuriate her further and send her flying into a bigger rage.
